Copernicus Technology at AA&S 2018 in Brisbane
Published 03 Jul 2018
Copernicus Technology will be centre stage on 2 occasions at this week's Aircraft Airworthiness & Sustainment (AA&S) Australia conference in Brisbane, Queensland. The conference focuses on all aspects of Airworthiness, Sustainment and Ageing Aircraft and is targeted at all who operate and sustain aerospace vehicles, military or civilian, large or small, new or old, manned or unmanned.
Our Australian representative GPCAPT(Retd) John Baker AM will play a major part in 2 conference activities this week:
- At 1030 on 4th July, the first day of the conference, John will be a member of the expert panel discussing "Will Asset Management Change our Business?". The panel will chaired by GPCAPT Adrian Morrison in Plaza 1 & 2.
- At 1410 on 6th July, John will be presenting in the Technical sessions in Plaza 4. His presentation is entitled "No Fault Found or more correctly, Fault Not Found; its causes, its costs and its correction". John's presentation includes impressive case studies where Intermittent Fault Detection (IFD) has yielded major reductions in downtime and support costs on military and civil aircraft, and the strategies required to target this approach for maximum effect.
Speaking about attending this year's conference John said "Copernicus Technology has been a regular fixture at this important conference for several years now, because of the major benefits to ageing fleets from using IFD technology. IFD testing solutions continue to increase platform availability and reduce sustainment costs for a wide range of customers, especially in the USDOD, and its use is critical to driving up First-Time-Fix rates and reducing No Fault Found problems in ageing aircraft systems".
